Series 8800 ($450) timepiece. Christmas gift.

Great looking watch. Two months old, stopped keeping accurate time, even after new battery. Sent off for warranty repair. Fast forward less than 2 years, minute hand illumination inop.

In spite of 10 yr warranty on tritium, they claimed it was my fault and that the watch had probably been dropped as the tritium tube was ruptured. Really. I didn't drop it, it never leaves my arm. But just for argument sake, your saying your Navy Seal endorsed watch can't be dropped?

$85 plus shipping to repair. When this one is done, there won't be another. There are other options. PS.

I wore a G-shock while on active duty as an Armor Officer, and can't begin to describe the beating I put that watch through. Only service was a battery change.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $85.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Luminox Cons: Warranty not honored.

Have spent almost as much time getting it repaired as actually wearing. Over advertised, over sold and over priced for a piece of junk.
