Avoid Luminox

Bought a Navy Seal 3000, bezel came off, they fixed it but I had to pay shipping both ways. Broke off again. All within 6 months. The warranty is useless and they weasel their way out of it. The band broke within the first year, ir is made from cheap plastic. The watch is now dead (not the battery).

Purchased a Luminox Night View 5 years ago. Two band loops broke within 1 year. Replaced with a $40 knock-off Luminox band that lasted longer than the original. Watch has never been under/in water and has always been carefully handled. The so called Tritium used on the...

After a year the watch just stopped. I'd bought it new in the box. I thought it must need a battery but watch shop showed me how the watch stoppage was related to the time setting stem. That when the stem is pushed in & screwed down it would stop. The problem I was...

Fogged and numbers on the rotating dial lost their paint within about 3 years, would fog in the shower. Repair cost $190.00 for a $300.00 watch. The repair service initially estimated 130.00. So not only was the watch performance a significant disappointment but the...

Had the rubber style band on my watch. Didn't last very long and broke at the pins. Luminox didn't seem to care so I bought a NATO style band. Also been having problems with the seconds hand acting up. Could be the battery again. I dunno. Will stick to Casio G-Shock...
